‘Happy Birthday Bill’ - celebrating Bill Evans at 90

August 16th marks the 90th birthday of the US piano legend Bill Evans. Two multi-award UK jazz favourites, vocalist Claire Martin and pianist Nikki Iles come together to celebrate the man and his music. Joined by bassist Steve Watts and drummer Matt Home, they will revisit some of the classic songs Evans recorded with the jazz great singer Tony Bennett such as ‘My Foolish Heart’, ‘You Must Believe in Spring’, ‘Some Other Time’ and ‘When In Rome’ for which promises to be two nights of classy and sophisticated music making.
